Default a few quick questions

ok first of all, i have heard that you can only have 1 elite skill on at a time, is that one at a time? or one per attribute.

second what would be better for hardcore healing, monk/2ndprofession or elementalist/monk cause it hink it would be better to have alot of enegery for a healer.

3rd is there anyplace that i can get a full map that is updated since the last beta?

They're special skills that are better then others. You can only have one per bar.

At first, I thought it could only be used by level 20 people and/or it was incredibly hard to get.

Some people like El/mos for healing because of energy storage (and so a much bigger energy pool). However, I will always choose a monk primary for a primary healer. Why? Divine favor.

Divine favor adds a healing bonus. Since I'm too lazy to paraphrase, and as GWG did such a great job of explaining DF, I'll just quote from the GWG professions page:

"Divine Favor is the primary attribute for Monks, meaning that only characters who have Monk as their primary class can place points into the attribute. Along with having many skills tied to this attribute, Divine Favor adds a passive healing bonus when you cast a Monk spell on an ally. Currently, each point in Divine Favor will heal your allies for 3.2 life. This amount is rounded to the nearest whole number, so with 1 point in the attribute, your spells will gain 3 healing from divine favor. With 12 points in Divine Favor, each Monk spell that you cast on an ally will heal them for 36 health. This can be greatly beneficial for any monk using spells to heal or buff an ally."

Sure, an el/mo will have a lot more energy than my monk/(insert random second profession) to begin with. However, with DF, I can heal for much more using the same amount of energy. In addition, in intense, high damage situations when I'm racing to counter the combined damage of an entire team, that extra bonus helps immensely.

An el/mo might still have energy left five minutes later into the battle, but it doesn't matter if you can't heal fast enough, and heal for the amount needed in that one, frantic minute.

So, it depends entirely on who you talk to. But for me personally, a monk primary is what I'll choose for any serious healer.

As for secondaries.. that depends on you. Some pure healers don't even touch their secondary. However, mesmer is a preferred choice of many for their energy stealing skills. Again, it depends on what you need the secondary for -- or if you need it at all.

Now, for your third question.. Yes there is! I get another chance to help Mooman advertise. You can find the most comprehensive map here. It has the entire world that is available in beta uncovered, including explorable areas and their exits/entrances. Of course, it's also under constant update in each BWE.

That little red dot is Tombs.

Tombs of the Primordial Kings. You get there by ferry from LA.. it's well known enough that.. well.. it's um.. pretty self-evident. But I'll suggest to Mooman that it be added to the world one, since the world one cuts off, I think to make that huge file a bit smaller, and more manageable.

Tombs itself, inside, might be a different thing, but there's no way that you can map tombs using the overhead, world "m" map. You would need terrain mapping for the PvP maps (like kunt0r's overhead screenshot views). But otherwise, there are no explorable areas outside of that pin-mark. So, I would assume that Mooman thought it didn't need to be included. It's just a map travel spot, nothing more.

So, I stand by the assertion that Mooman's map is complete!! Yes, I'm a fanatic.

One more clarification. By "complete," I mean complete as of March BWE. We have seen less than half (or is it around half now?) of the total content at release.. and so of course the world will expand. However, at the moment, this is all that we have access to.
